Covid 19 Special Cancellation Conditions

Your reservation 100% modifiable, postponable or refundable in the event of Covid*

Benefit free of charge from a change of stay, a postponement of the sums paid to the next season or a refund (excluding administrative fees and possible cancellation option taken out), at your choice in the event that your stay is prevented for the one of the following reasons :
Confinement of your place of residence or your place of destination during the period of your stay
Borders closed on the dates of your stay
Administrative closure of the campsite on the dates of your stay
All other measures taken by the Public Authorities related to the health crisis, preventing you from going to Camping les Valades on the dates of your stay

This guarantee does not apply to other reasons of impediment such as personal concern, partially closed infrastructures etc…

*apart from the reasons listed above, the conditions for canceling or modifying stays are governed by the GTC in force at the time of booking

FAQ Pitches

Should I have an adapter for the electrical connection ?

The majority of our sites have French plugs (standard and individual sanitary pitches). The XL slots are the only ones equipped with European plugs. The amperage is 10A for all.
So think about bringing an extension cord large enough to connect to the electrical terminals and an adapter if necessary.

Are the pitches equipped with an electrical connection?

Yes.

Is there water on each pitch?

All our pitches are connected to the water.

Is water and electricity included in the price of the pitch?

Yes the pitch package includes water, electricity, a tent or a caravan or a motor home and 2 person (4 persons for the pitches with private sanitary facilities).

Are there specific pitches for motor homes?

No.

There is no difference. All pitches are accessible to motor homes, caravans, tents.

Is there a possibility to empty the toilet on the pitch?

No.

The toilets cannot be emptied directly on the pitch.

Arrangements for this purpose are provided in the sanitary block at the top of the campsite and the one near the outdoor pool.

At what time is the pitch available?

The pitches are available from 1 pm.

At what time should you leave the pitch?

The pitch should be left by noon.

Are the pitches shaded?

Our standard pitches are mostly shaded because they are located in the woods. Pitches with private sanitary equipment and XL pitches are sunny.

Which discount cards are accepted?

Card holders of Adac, Acsi, Camping Key, Anwb benefit from a preferential rate during low season.

The campsite is also a member of Camping Cheques.

Are dogs and cats accepted?

Yes for an additional charge per day. Dogs and cats must be up to date with their vaccinations and kept on a lead within the campsite. They must not be left alone on the pitch. Dogs are not allowed to swim in the pond. Waste bags are available free of charge at reception.

1st and 2nd category dogs are not allowed on the campsite.

FAQ Rentals

What time can I arrive ?

Arrivals are from 3 pm. Nevertheless before and after the season, we can accommodate you and install sooner provided you notify us in advance of your arrival time. In July and August if you arrive before 3 pm, we may be able to settle earlier depending on the progress of our cleaning teams. Whatever the case, while waiting to integrate your hiring, you will be able to benefit from the aquatic spaces of the camp-site.

What to do in case of late arrival?

In case of late arrival, outside the opening hours of the reception, we ask you to inform us by phone on (00 33) 5 53 29 14 27.

We will then give you the information to get access to your rental accommodation.

How are the rentals equipped? (dishes, bed linen, ...)

Each rental accommodation is furnished with dishes, quilts or blankets, pillows.

Sheets, pillow cases, towels, dish towels and cleaning products are not provided.

You can rent sheets & towels packages when you reserve or before your arrival.

When I arrive, should I leave a deposit?

Yes as indicated in your confirmation letter, a deposit of 200 € will be requested upon your arrival.

It will be returned to you upon departure after inspection of the rental accommodation by a member of our team.

At what time do I have to leave the rental accommodation?

The rental must be left before 10am.

We ask you to make an appointment at the reception for checking the rental accommodation, at the latest the day before your departure.

Is cleaning included in the rental price?

No, cleaning is not included in the rental price.

When you book, you can opt for the cleaning fee.

The cleaning fee does not exclude leaving the rental accommodation in a correct state: washing up cleaned and stowed away; barbecue emptied and cleaned.

Can we leave outside the opening hours of the reception?

Yes by informing us beforehand. The checking of the rental accommodation will be done after your departure and your deposit will be destroyed, cancelled or returned to you according to your choice.

Are dogs and cats accepted?

Yes, for a supplement per day and only one animal per rental. In the Premium, Premium Family, Sunny Lodge and Cabane du Lac chalets, only animals weighing less than 6 kg will be accepted. Dogs and cats must be up to date with their vaccinations and kept on a lead within the campsite. They should not be left alone in the rental. Dogs are not allowed to swim in the pond. Waste bags are available free of charge at reception.

What time is the reception open ?

April: 9 am-11am
May-June-September: 9 am-11 am / 4 pm-7 pm

July-August: 8:30 am-1 pm / 2pm-7pm

What is the opening period of the campsite and its different services?

The campsite is open from the beginning of May until 30 September.

The indoor pool is open during the entire opening period of the campsite.

The outdoor pools are accessible from mid-May to mid-September depeng on the weather conditions.

The bread service is open during the whole opening period of the campsite with a delivery service during the low season.

The catering service, on-site or take-adinway, opens at the beginning of June until the campsite closes.

When is the restaurant open?

On-site or take-out catering opens from the beginning of June until mid-September. These periods may vary depending on the occupation.

The service is only open in the evening, every evening in July and August, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday evenings in June and September.

When is the bread service open?

Throughout the opening period of the campsite, you can order your bread and pastries.

The service is in place every day in July-August, with a closing day the other months. We work with a baker who enjoys before and after the season a day of rest before the big rush!

In April, May, June and September we even deliver them directly to the door of your chalet, tent or caravan! In July and August, you will have to pick them up at the reception.

At what age can children go to the Kids Club?

The kids club is free for children from 5 years old. Under 5 years old, parents will be asked to stay with them.

Children’s activities are proposed in July and August.

Is there WiFi on the campsite?

Yes.

WiFi is available throughout the campsite. It is free at the reception and for the rest of the campsite, tickets can be bought at the reception.

FAQ Reservation

When should I pay the balance of my reservation ?

You have booked a rental: you have to pay your balance 1 month before your arrival.

You have reserved a pitch (Standard, XL, Individual sanitary): we will ask you to pay your balance on the day of your arrival.

How can I book?

The easiest and fastest way is to make your booking directly online. No worries, the site is secure and 95% of our customers use it! You will also be able to access our availabilities which are updated every day.

A deposit of 30% of the amount of the stay will be requested and you can pay by credit card, bank transfer, check or holiday cheques.

Why take out a cancellation insurance?

If you pay for your holidays with a classic bank card, it only covers you partially. Cancellation is rarely included. A family problem, shifted holidays. In case of an unforeseen event and without insurance, you will have to cancel…. but you have to pay anyway.

If you opt for the cancellation insurance, you must do this directly during your reservation. It will cost you 2% of the price of your stay and all participants, with or without a family link, will be covered.

Is there a train station near the campsite?

Yes we have several stations nearby:

Siorac en Périgord (6km)
Le Buisson de Cadouin (7 km)
Le Bugue and St Cyprien (10 km)

Are there shops near the campsite?

We open a little grocery store on site in June and the service of fresh bread and pastries from the ningope of the campsite.

The village of Coux & Bigaroque is situated at 3 kms from the campsite. You will find a baker, a tobacco/magazine shop, a local produce shop (meat, cheese, milk, fruits and vegetables, preserves, jams, drinks …), a hairdresser, a post office.

For supermarkets, you can go to Carrefour Market in Siorac en Perigord (6 kms), Intermarché, Lidl and Aldi in Le Bugue (8kms).

Every morning you can go and visit a market in a radius of maximum 20 kms from the campsite.

Are barbecues allowed on the campsite?

Yes.

Barbecues are allowed on the campsite, unless prohibited by prefectural decree.

Are visitors accepted?

Yes.

Visitors are allowed under the responsibility of their host, after notifying their presence at the reception and paying the fee of 4 €.
